Overkot does not require account creation. If you contact us via email or Discord, we may collect the information you provide in your message (such as your name, email address, or Discord username) solely for the purpose of responding to your inquiry.

2.2 Automatically Collected Information (Desktop App)

The Overkot desktop application:

• Reads game data from Soulframe on your local machine to provide gameplay features (boss timers, crafting status, faction standings, character position). This data is processed locally and is not transmitted to external servers.
• Stores configuration and preferences locally on your computer in an encrypted format.
• Contacts our update server to check for and download application updates. This request includes your current app version; no personal data is sent.

2.3 Group Finder Data

If you use the Group Finder feature, the following data is transmitted to our Firebase backend:

• An anonymous session identifier
• Your in-game character name (as entered by you)
• Your selected language and activity preferences
• Group listing details you create

This data is used solely to facilitate group matching and is automatically deleted when you close your listing or go offline. We do not use this data for any other purpose.

2.4 Website Analytics

The overkot.com website may use third-party analytics services (such as Google Analytics) to understand how visitors use the site. These services may collect:

• Pages visited and time spent
• Referring website
• Browser type and operating system
• Approximate geographic location (country/region level)

This data is collected in aggregate and is not used to personally identify individual visitors.
