Open Widgets, search for Avakot Market and enable it, then select the bag icon in the dock. Connect your Avakot Account through browser sign-in at avakot.dev to browse trades and manage listings. Selling from inventory requires a verified Envoy matching your connected Soulframe character. See the Market setup guide.

Choose an edge and auto-hide in Settings → Overlay. Click widget icons to open or hide panels, and drag icons to reorder them. Press Shift + F1 to focus overlay interaction, then hold Shift to move or resize panels on the layout grid. Drop a floating panel on the dock to reattach it. Shift + F2 hides or restores the whole overlay; both shortcuts can be changed. See the dock guide.

Mini-Map displays the current dungeon layout when available, without continuous player tracking. F6 location capture is unavailable in dungeons. Expand the map to display transparent outlines over the game; pan, zoom or fit while interacting. Escape returns input to Soulframe and preserves the view. Close returns to Mini-Map. Overkot is a free, lightweight desktop overlay built specifically for Soulframe. It provides real-time widgets that sit on top of your game window, giving you instant access to boss respawn timers, crafting countdowns, faction standings, an interactive world map, a group finder, and a wiki search — all without alt-tabbing.

Yes. Overkot is 100% free to download and use. There are no premium tiers, subscriptions, in-app purchases, or paywalls. All features are available to every user.

Choose a published package on the download page. On Windows, run the setup wizard and launch Overkot from the Start Menu or desktop. Experimental Linux downloads include DEB, Arch pacman and AppImage packages with installation commands beside each download. Prefer an X11 session with Soulframe in Wine/Proton, in borderless or windowed mode; game compatibility varies.

Overkot is an independent companion app. It reads game logs and account/session data to power its features; it does not alter game code or automate gameplay. It is not affiliated with or approved by Digital Extremes.

The Windows release is unsigned. The download page links the VirusTotal report for the selected download and its SHA-256 checksum. Scan results apply to the exact file scanned; follow the report link for the latest vendor results.

Overkot supports Windows 10 and Windows 11 (64-bit). Experimental Linux DEB, Arch pacman and AppImage packages are listed on the download page when published. X11 is recommended with Soulframe running through Wine/Proton; Wayland, window-manager behaviour and real-game compatibility vary. Linux updates are installed manually. macOS packages are not currently offered.

Overkot supports 12 languages: German, English, Spanish, French, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Turkish, and Chinese. The language can be changed in the app settings at any time.

Overkot works when Soulframe is running in Borderless Windowed or Windowed mode. If you use exclusive fullscreen, the overlay cannot render on top of the game. We recommend switching to borderless windowed for the best experience.

On Windows, automatic updates are on by default. New versions download in the background and install when you quit Overkot. Open Settings to read release notes or install and restart now. Turn off automatic updates for manual control. On Linux, download a newer DEB or Arch package and install it, or replace your AppImage manually.

Keep the warning and detection name, then contact us with the installer version, SHA-256 hash and scan report. The Windows release is unsigned. Check the download page for the VirusTotal scan matching the selected download and compare its SHA-256 checksum with your file. SmartScreen reputation warnings are separate from antivirus detections.

Choose “Where am I?”, then press F6 in Soulframe when prompted to take a screenshot. The map shows the matched location from that capture. Repeat after travelling to update it. See the map guide.

Create or browse parties of up to four players, including the host. Overkot looks up your Envoy name from your connected game profile. Set language and region preferences, request to join a listing, and wait for the host to accept. See the Group Finder guide.
