Overkot is a free, lightweight desktop overlay built specifically for Soulframe. It provides real-time widgets that sit on top of your game window, giving you instant access to boss respawn timers, crafting countdowns, faction standings, an interactive world map, a group finder, and a wiki search — all without alt-tabbing.

Yes. Overkot is 100% free to download and use. There are no premium tiers, subscriptions, in-app purchases, or paywalls. All features are available to every user. If you'd like to support development, you can do so through Patreon, but it's entirely optional.

Just download the installer and run it. Setup takes a few seconds — then launch Overkot from your Start Menu or desktop and you're ready to go.

Absolutely. Overkot is a standalone overlay that runs alongside Soulframe — it never touches game files or gives any unfair advantage. Your settings and data stay on your machine and are never shared with anyone.

Overkot is an external overlay that runs completely separately from the game — similar to how Discord or Steam overlays work. It doesn't interact with the game in any way and doesn't provide any competitive advantage. That said, always review the game's current terms of service for the most up-to-date information.

Overkot currently supports Windows 10 and Windows 11 (64-bit). There are no current plans for macOS or Linux, as Soulframe is a Windows-exclusive title.

Overkot supports 12 languages: German, English, Spanish, French, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Turkish, and Chinese. The language can be changed in the app settings at any time.

Overkot works when Soulframe is running in Borderless Windowed or Windowed mode. If you use exclusive fullscreen, the overlay cannot render on top of the game. We recommend switching to borderless windowed for the best experience.

Overkot keeps itself up to date automatically. When a new version is available, it downloads in the background and applies the next time you launch the app. You'll always have the latest features without doing anything.

Because Overkot is a newer application, Windows SmartScreen or some antivirus programs may flag it. This is a common occurrence with newly released software. To proceed:

• SmartScreen: Click "More info" then "Run anyway".
• Antivirus: Add Overkot to your exclusion/whitelist.

The app is completely safe to use.

When Soulframe is running and detected by Overkot, your character's position shows up as a blip on the interactive world map. It updates in real time as you move through the game world, so you always know exactly where you are.

The Group Finder lets you create or browse group listings, request to join other players' groups, and get matched by language and activity. You can see who's online in real time and coordinate directly from the overlay without leaving the game. Listings update instantly so you never miss an opportunity.

All your settings and data stay on your computer and are kept private. Overkot doesn't upload personal data anywhere. The only online features are the Group Finder (which uses anonymous sessions to match players) and automatic updates (which check for new versions).
