Install on Windows

  1. Download the installer above.
  2. Run the installer and choose a writable installation folder.
  3. Launch Overkot from your Start Menu or desktop.
  4. Open Soulframe and Overkot will automatically detect the game.

Windows Automatic Updates

Automatic updates are on by default. New versions download in the background and install when you quit Overkot. Open Settings to read the release notes or install and restart now. Turn off automatic updates to choose when to download and install each release.

Experimental Linux Packages

Linux downloads appear when their release metadata is available. Use a DEB for Debian-based desktops, a pacman package for Arch, or an AppImage on a compatible distribution. Prefer an X11 session with Soulframe in Wine/Proton, in borderless or windowed mode. Wayland, window-manager behaviour and game detection vary; these builds have experimental support. Download and install Linux updates manually.

Safety & Security

Overkot is an independent companion app. It reads game logs and account/session data to power its features; it does not alter game code or automate gameplay. It is not affiliated with or approved by Digital Extremes. Settings and cached game data are stored locally. Online features include Avakot Account, Avakot Market, Group Finder, game data and app updates, and basic usage analytics. See the Privacy Policy for what is sent and why.

Troubleshooting

Installer and Antivirus Reports

Use the checksum and VirusTotal links beside each package to check that exact file. Scan results apply to the file scanned; open each report for current vendor results.

Vendor counts and analysis dates are snapshots from publication. Unsupported files, timeouts and failures are listed separately from vendor verdicts. An undetected result or zero detections does not guarantee that a file is safe.

The Windows release is unsigned. If your security software blocks a download, keep the version, detection name, SHA-256 hash and scan link, then contact us for vendor follow-up. A SmartScreen reputation warning is separate from an antivirus verdict.

Overlay Not Appearing

Make sure Soulframe is running in Borderless Windowed or Windowed mode. Exclusive fullscreen prevents overlays from rendering on top of the game.
