A passion project built by gamers, for gamers.
Why We Built Overkot
Soulframe is a massive, immersive world — but keeping track of everything happening in it can be overwhelming. Boss respawn timers, crafting queues, faction standings, where you left off on the map — there's a lot to juggle. We found ourselves constantly alt-tabbing to spreadsheets, wikis, and Discord channels just to keep up.
Overkot was born out of that frustration. We wanted a single tool that sits quietly on top of the game and gives you everything you need at a glance. No alt-tabbing, no second monitors required, no clunky web tabs. Just clean, real-time information right where you need it.
Who We Are
Overkot is developed by Avakot, a small independent project focused on building community tools for Soulframe. Alongside the overlay, Avakot also maintains:
- Avakot Wiki — A comprehensive Soulframe wiki with item data, guides, and lore.
- Avakot Market — A trading platform for Soulframe players to list and find items.
These projects are all community-driven and free to use. We build tools we'd want to use ourselves, and we share them because we believe the Soulframe community deserves great resources.
What Overkot Does
Avakot Market
Browse sellers and buyers, create listings from eligible game inventory, and manage your offers. Enable Market in Widgets and open the bag icon to get started.
Boss Respawn Timers
Live countdowns that track boss respawn windows. Get notified the moment a boss is available so you never miss a fight.
Crafting Timers
See all your active foundry recipes and how long until they're done. Works for quick crafts and overnight builds alike.
Daily Affiliation
A progress bar showing daily affiliation earned and remaining. Updates in real time as you play.
Faction Standings
View your standing with every faction at a glance — rank, progress, and how far you have to go.
Group Finder
Find parties of up to four players, including the host, using your Envoy name and language and region preferences.
Wiki Search
Search the Soulframe Wiki directly from the overlay. Results appear in-game without alt-tabbing.
Interactive World Map
Explore Midrath with POI filters, screenshot-based location and approximate ancestor search areas.
Calendar & Midrath Clock
Browse ancestor encounters and Zenith’s daily offers, then follow the live day/night countdown in a compact clock widget.
Temper Tracker
Find which tempers appear on your weapons without checking each weapon individually. Keep the tracker beside your game.
Export Your Build
Open your equipped loadout as a draft on avakot.build. Review the imported equipment and customise the build from there.
Make It Your Overlay
Choose Dark Mint, Midnight, Ember or High Contrast. Arrange separate widgets or use the dock, and control app and game data updates in Settings.
12 Languages
Interface language options for DE, EN, ES, FR, IT, JA, KO, PL, PT, RU, TR, and ZH. Some newer features use English.
Our Principles
Free Forever
Overkot is and always will be free. No paywalls, no premium features, no subscriptions. Every feature is available to every user.
Privacy First
Settings and cached game data are stored locally. Online features include Avakot Market, Group Finder, game data and app updates, and basic usage analytics. See the Privacy Policy for what is sent and why.
Non-Invasive
Overkot is an independent companion app. It reads game logs and account/session data to power its features; it does not alter game code or automate gameplay. It is not affiliated with or approved by Digital Extremes.
Community Driven
Features are shaped by player feedback. The Discord community drives what gets built next, and bug reports are taken seriously.
