Live Position Tracking

One of the most useful map features is live player position tracking. When Soulframe is connected and you're on the overworld, your character's position shows up as a glowing blip on the map in real time.

How It Works

  1. Make sure Overkot is connected to Soulframe (status shows "Connected!").
  2. Press F6 in-game to enable position broadcasting.
  3. Open the Mini-Map widget or the full-size map window.
  4. Your blip appears and moves as you travel through Midrath.

Use Cases

  • Navigation — Always know exactly where you are relative to bosses, dungeons, and resources.
  • Farming routes — Plan efficient paths between resource nodes by watching your position on the map.
  • Boss positioning — See how close you are to a boss spawn before it respawns.
  • Exploration — Discover which areas of the map you haven't visited yet.
Note: If the map shows "Not on overworld," you're likely in a dungeon, instanced area, or menu. Live tracking only works on the Midrath overworld.

Dungeon Types

Midrath's 26 named dungeons are organized into four distinct categories, each with a different environment and challenge level:

Undercity

12 dungeons

The sprawling underground networks beneath Midrath's settlements. The most common dungeon type, featuring corridors, chambers, and subterranean encounters.

Glades

7 dungeons

Natural forested areas with enclosed environments. Glades dungeons tend to feature organic terrain, overgrown ruins, and nature-themed encounters.

Neathuns

4 dungeons

Deep underground cavern systems. Less common but often host more challenging encounters and valuable loot opportunities.

Crypt

3 dungeons

Ancient burial sites and tomb complexes. The rarest dungeon type, crypts typically contain unique encounters and story-related content.
